Welcome!

I attended Columbus schools, and I am a graduate of Columbus High School. I attended Blinn College and then transferred to Texas A&M, where I earned my bachelor's degree in finance. I received my teaching certification through the U of H graduate program and my Master's Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University.

This is my third year at CES and my 21st year in education. My experience includes teaching English Language Arts at the junior high level, English and CTE classes at the high school, and most recently, technology classes at the elementary school. I am excited to move into the role of elementary school librarian at CES this year, and I look forward to helping students grow as readers and prepare them or future success at the secondary level. I also serve as the instructional technologist on the elementary campus.
