About Me!

Hey there! My name is Ashlyn Pugh and I am a 2nd grade Math and Science teacher at Columbus Elementary School. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in December 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in EC-6 Education. I was then hired on at Columbus Elementary in January 2021 as a Pre-K teacher. I then taught 5th grade ELAR for two years. For the 23-24 school year, I will be teaching 2nd grade Math and Science. 

 

I absolutely love being a teacher. Both of my parents are teachers (1st grade and middle school band) and my grandmother was a second grade teacher at Columbus Elementary School for about 20 years.

 

Some random fun facts: I've always loved school and learning, Friends is my absolute favorite TV show, I drink a Dr. Pepper every day, and I have a sweet, five year old tabby cat, named Pumpkin.
