Returning Students Registration Deadline 7/27

Good afternoon. This is a reminder that all students, kindergarten through 12th grade, must be registered for the 2020-2021 school year by Monday, July 27th. Registration and enrollment is available online by visiting the following link If you would like to register in person you may visit your child’s campus from 8am to 4pm on Monday to complete the online process. Face coverings and temperature screening will be required when registering in person.

Return of Chromebooks and HotSpots

Now that we are nearing the end of the instructional year, when your student(s) finish their coursework you may return the district-owned devices (Chromebooks and HotSpots) on these days: May 18 - May 22 from 8am to 4pm at the Columbus ISD Administration Building (Central Office). You may also turn them in on May 26 and 27 in front of the Columbus High School Auditorium from 3pm to 5pm (drive-thru style just as you did when you received them). Please bring the Chromebook and the charger (you must have both and in working order). HotSpots must be in the original white Kajeet box with the charging cable and instruction card. ALL devices must be received by May 27.

A special note for Columbus High School students who have district-owned Chromebooks (including Advanced Placement, AP, and Dual Credit students): Please bring your devices (Chromebook and charger, and/or HotSpot) and return them to Room 5 when you come to campus during your allotted time to visit next week (May 18-21).

Columbus ISD Closed for the Remainder of School Year

The Texas Education Agency has provided school districts with guidance on what is required for students during school closures due to COVID-19. Even though students will not be able to go to their school’s campus, learning will continue through remote learning via Google Classroom, or the picking up of physical packets from your child’s campus. This will continue in accordance with the CISD school calendar until the last day of school.
